Hi there Congratulations Deank for a most beautiful product (4.18.04). I have problems in reading an NTFS flash drive which is formatted as NTFS Primary. I toggle the NTFS / PFS driver and goto MmOS and click on PS3 ROOT. I can see pvd_usb000 (my 32GB NTFS flash drive has 1 partition) but after clicking on pvd_usb000 it seems to result in an ever spinning circle and folder reports 0MB? On browsing the internal of my PS3 I can still see the original USB.CFG used when I had Multiman 4.09. Could this be the problem? This always worked using multiman 4.09 with USB.CFG configured with product id and vendor id in the multiman folder on internal drive of PS3. I was able to browse my NTFS flash drive successfully. Your expert help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Surfshark. Good Morning Deank As promised to keep you updated, I tried removing the USB.CFG file from /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDDIR/ and running Multiman 4.18.04. I removed all USB devices (including my FAT32 external and obeyed all Multiman messages) so PS3 just read from NTFS flash drive. I tried browsing pvd_usb000 with toggle NTFS ON using MmOS and unfortunately still experienced the same result (ever spinning circle and folder reports 0MB). Just as a quick test, i reinstalled Multiman V4.09 (which requires my original USB.CFG file in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDDIR )and I was able to browse the NTFS flash file. Let me know of further developments. Again thanks for enriching my life. Best Wishes Surfshark (Linux Geek);o). Same issue on Rogero 4.40 - endless loading, can't see any files / dirs. Created a USB.CFG and uploaded it to the folder /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR, with a single line '0xAAAA:0xBBBB:1' (without the quotes obviously) where AAAA was my Vendor ID and BBBB was my product ID for the USB hard drive from device manager. I then connected the USB hard drive to the PS3, launched Multiman, went into file manager, pressed start+triangle ('scanning USB devices') and I can see the USB drive listed as 'pvd_usb000', but when I try to open it I get the infinite loading circle, and at the bottom of the window it says 'Please wait' and 'Free Space: 0MB'. The USB hard drive is NTFS formatted. Here is how I solved this for a USB pendrive I could not get multiMAN to read: - I downloaded the free version of AOMEI Partition Assistant on my Windows 7 machine ( ) - I started AOMEI and deleted the NTFS partition on my pendrive that multiMAN did not recognize, leaving the pendrive 'empty' so to speak - I created a new NTFS partition with AOMEI and let it quick format the pendrive - I copied over the files I wanted to transfer to the PS3 - I inserted the pendrive in the left USB connector of my PS3 Slim - Now multiMAN recognized the drive. Note that it can sometimes fail to do this; in this case I restart multiMAN and choose the mount NTFS drive option before attempting to do anything else. This normally solves it. Hope this helps. Different Windows editions appear to implement different revisions of the NTFS file format. It is possible that drives formatted on Windows 7 or other recent Windows editions have some compatibility issue with multiMAN.
